Using The Smartphone For Shopping Online

Many people use their smartphones to start their online activities such as shopping before using other devices,. According to a report smartphones are the most common starting points for online activities.
The study was a market analysis involving 1,611 people polled across 15,738 media interaction. For the study the smartphone was compared with the PC and the tablet. For online shopping, 65% started on the smartphone, 61% continued on the PC and 4% continued on a tablet. The following activities were also analzsed:
Searching for information
Browsing the Internet
Planning a trip
Managing Finances
Social Networking
Watching TV
The result s were about the same for all activities. The researchers believe it is because of its tendency to initiate tasks that snowball onto other screens.
