You may be considering buying a new car, but do you really need one? If you do, do you need it now?

Making a decision whether to buy or not could either cost you, or save you a lot of money.

Before you make the decision about that fantasy car, here are some things you wouldn't want to do:

• Don't impulse buy

• Don't buy the first car you see

• Don't look desperate

• Don't negotiate in person

• Don't tell the salesperson your maximum price

2-Take your time.
