Anyone on a weight loss program who has lost weight would want to keep it off, RIGHT!
Some weight watchers; however, may be forced to live above their means if keeping it off takes forever. There are some who may give up in the struggle to lose weight for financial reasons.
When the cost of being on a weight loss diet is more than was expected or the weight lost per dollar ratio is not right, it may become a financial burden.
Losing weight and keeping off; though, does not have to be expensive or a financial burden. One does not have give up because the money just isn't there.

Before joining a weight loss program, do your home work. Get information on any hidden costs, what others are saying, the drop out rate and the returns due to weight gain.

Invest some time in consumer education. A medical study was done on the effectiveness of weight loss. It showed that those who received weight loss education first, were more successful in losing weight and keeping it off.
Design your own diet and exercise programs with the knowledge you acquired from consumer health education.
Change your eating habits by preparing your own meals. This means no fast food, no take out meals and dining out less often.
Shop Wisely At The Supermarkets
Reduce your grocery bill. A good weight loss diet must exclude certain food products, remove these food products from your shopping list altogether.
Avoid binging and overeating, so you spend less on grocery. Your supply would last longer with fewer trips per year.
