The number of people using the Internet is multiplying. More Offline shoppers are going online to browse and make purchases. More merchants are making their products and services available through online shopping.
In an effort to keep up with technology money is going everywhere online; Internet users are busy spending their money online.

From buying a car, to sending money online, from shopping online to making money online, Internet users are doing it.
The point is, that technology has changed and is changing, this change is accompanied by increased:
Online shopping
Online Credit card use
Online fraud
As the number of these Internet users increase, the risk of identity theft and fraud is increased.
If you are one of those savvy people who would rather use the internet to purchase products or services you should take steps to protect yourself fraud. Fraud occurs in many ways, from phishing scams to ticket scammers, from password abuse to identity theft.
There are actions that you can take to prevent you from becoming a victim, for example, be aware pf phishing scams, complain when your purchases don't arrive and be suspicious of online friends.
Passwords
Password protection is most important so change your password from time to time. It is also wise to sign up for two step authentication.
Don't use the same password for emails, bank accounts and shopping accounts. Pick a strong password, one that includes a mix of lower and upper case, numbers and letters.
